I couldn’t resist messing with the German Pinscher - a breed, representing for me, the epitome of human engineering/control of the environment and with 'German' in its title to boot. I do love dogs but with a love/hate relationship with the idea of purebreeds and the whole concept of judging on such superficial terms. It’s like designing something and then allowing the element of chance (in this case genetics), then judging the random outcome based on the original blueprint. weird.
