I’ve been curious about the human and scientific intervention and interpretation of culture and the natural world - the control of it and validity of science as a truth in place of religion as faith.
Objects that are inherently misguided or dysfunctional in design, function trumped by form, the tension derived between contrasting elements or between practical application and pure aesthetics.
A situation is setup and parameters defined. Organic elements cope how they see fit - a futility in the age of logic and technology. In a sense, trying to dig one’s way out of the morass.
